The sugar tax probably had something to do with it, though the Zero version continues to be sold. Of the sugary ones, I always loved the Vanilla variant which was sadly discontinued a second time. It is a bit expensive compared to the other varieties. This is now my preferred Coca-Cola drink. It is a decent drink that tastes good, lacks both sugar and caffeine.
Now that I discovered it, this is just perfect.

I had been aware that caffeine free Diet Coke was available but I never tried it. Diet Coke has its own distinctive taste, but the caffeine content lately wasnt helping with the blood pressure spikes. Although Coca-Cola Zero is available as a sugar free option, I always found the taste off-putting and too harsh. I have also been trying to reduce my sugar intake, so the regular Diet Coke was a frat option. I am a massive fan of Coca-Cola, but recently I have had periods where I have experienced high blood pressure, something which is made worse by drinks with caffeine in them.
